According to the "2022 China Prefabricated food Industry Development Trend Research Report" released by iiMedia Research, the scale of China's prefabricated food market will be 345.9 billion yuan in 2021.It is expected to exceed 516.5 billion yuan in 2023, and will break through trillion yuan in 2026.

 

The demand for prefabricated food in China began with fast food outlets such as KFC and McDonald's, and later developed the processing and distribution industry of pure vegetables. Since 2000, it has expanded to meat, poultry and aquatic products, and semi-finished dishes have emerged. Until 2020, when the epidemic restricted the travel of residents, pre-made dishes became a new option, and C-end consumption rose rapidly.
